(June 30, 2010) Canadian blues guitarist Colin James made a surprise appearance at the TD Toronto Jazz Festival. James joined headliner Mavis Staples during her encore of “I’ll take you there.” There is history between the two – Staples once performed backing vocals on a Colin James record during the nineties.
