Location sound, dialogue cleanup, sound design, mixing, and professional audio post-production.

Videographers / Filmmakers

Shooting interviews, documentary field production, observational scenes, and cinematic b-roll.

Applicants should have a strong portfolio, good communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the Shot7 team when needed.

Role Details

What we're looking for

Video Editors

Experience editing documentary films, interview series, long-form content, and narrative-driven cuts.

Requirements
  • Proven experience editing documentary and interview-based video content.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar professional editing software.
  • Ability to edit interviews, long-form documentaries, and cinematic narrative content.
  • Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, music selection, transitions, and documentary structure.
  • Experience with basic color correction and color grading.
  • Ability to work with feedback, meet deadlines, and keep projects organised.
  • A strong portfolio showing previous documentary or interview work is required.

Audio Professionals

Location sound, dialogue cleanup, sound design, mixing, and professional audio post-production.

Requirements
  • Experience recording and managing professional audio for productions.
  • Knowledge of location sound, boom microphones, wireless lavalier systems, recorders, and basic audio equipment.
  • Ability to clean dialogue, reduce background noise, balance levels, mix audio, and prepare final audio files.
  • Experience with sound design, music placement, and audio post-production is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with software such as Adobe Audition, DaVinci Resolve Fairlight, Pro Tools, Logic Pro, or similar.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify audio issues quickly.
  • A portfolio or examples of previous audio work are required.

Videographers / Filmmakers

Shooting interviews, documentary field production, observational scenes, and cinematic b-roll.

Requirements
  • Proven experience filming interviews, documentary field production, and cinematic b-roll.
  • Strong understanding of camera settings, framing, composition, lighting, movement, and visual storytelling.
  • Ability to work confidently with mirrorless or cinema cameras, lenses, gimbals, tripods, lighting, and basic production equipment.
  • Experience capturing clean interview footage and high-quality documentary b-roll.
  • Ability to work professionally on location, communicate with subjects, and adapt to different shooting environments.
  • Knowledge of basic editing is a strong advantage.
  • A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous documentary or interview work is required.
